Contemporary Art exhibition Re-Cognition Re-Conhecimento.
Ponte de lima, the oldest village of Portugal will receive contemporary art with an exhibition titled RE-Cognition Re-Conhecimento. The project is being developed in close collaboration with Câmara of Ponte de Lima, UFP (Universidade Fernando Pessoa), CLEPUL (Centro de Literaturas e Culturas Lusófonas e Europeias da Faculdade de Letras da Universidade de Lisboa) and jornal Artes entre as Letras. The art exhibition will be inaugurated in Ponte de Lima on the 1st of July 2016. 9 historical buildings transformed into exhibition spaces and several local small businesses, which will also serve as venues, will feature 140 artists with more than 300 artworks. The invited artists are from Portugal, England, France, Spain, Slovenia, Germany, Poland, Switzerland, Sweden, Finland, Croatia, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Switzerland, Italy, Greece, Ireland, Iraq, Iran, Ukraine, Serbia, Turkey, Lebanon, USA, Canada, Brazil, Peru, denmark, Israel and Macedonia.
